Rhinoplasty is the clinical term for what is commonly called a “nose job.” A rhinoplasty in Long Island can restore or improve the appearance of the nose for an enhanced sense of facial balance.
What is the rhinoplasty procedure?
In rhinoplasty, the underlying nasal structure is accessed through incisions hidden within the nose (also known as closed rhinoplasty) or via an incision across the tissue between the nostrils (an open rhinoplasty).
The cartilage, bone structure, and skin tissue are then reshaped based on your surgery plan. After the foundation is reformed, the outer tissue is re-draped, and the incisions are closed.
