Achieve youthful skin that is plump and glowing.

The key to the Restylane formulas is hyaluronic acid. The hyaluronic acid used in dermal fillers is similar to a clear, gel-like substance that occurs naturally in the body. Hyaluronic acid helps lubricate joints, and it also helps maintain skin moisture and plumpness. Some research indicates that hyaluronic acid administered below the skin’s surface may stimulate the production of collagen, the protein that provides the underlying structure and strength of our skin.

A quick and effective treatment

Restylane was the first hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler approved by the FDA for moderate to severe facial wrinkles and nasolabial folds (the skin folds that can form on the sides of the nose and stretch to the corners of the mouth, or “laugh lines”). Restylane may also be used to treat marionette lines, the lines that extend from the corners of the mouth to the jaw, and to add volume to the lips. Following Restylane injections, fine lines, creases, and wrinkles progressively fade, and the skin begins to look smoother and fuller.

Restylane Lyft

Restylane Lyft works similarly to Restylane and can also correct nasolabial folds, but it is formulated and FDA-approved for cheek augmentation. As we grow older, many of us lose skin tone and volume in the cheeks, which accentuates loose skin from the nose to the mouth and gives the appearance of sunken cheeks. Restylane Lyft restores plumpness and definition for a healthier and more youthful look. This injectable is also approved for hand rejuvenation, providing the plump softness associated with youthful hands.

Restylane Silk

Restylane Silk is specially formulated for lip enhancement. Silk also helps smooth out the fine wrinkles that tend to develop around the corners of the mouth. Restylane Silk not only plumps the lips, but it also gives your plastic surgeon precise control in shaping the volume of the lips. Most patients see visible improvement in lip fullness within two weeks of initial injections, and the improvements to volume and the reduction of fine lines will continue in the following weeks.

Restylane Defyne

This member of the Restylane family was developed to smooth fine lines and wrinkles and creases and is injected at a mid to deep skin level to provide underlying volume to the skin. This injectable can smooth the deeper laugh lines or enhance chin projection.

Restylane Contour

The most recent addition to the Restylane family of dermal fillers, Contour, was developed to create cheek volume, either to restore lost volume or enhance your facial profile. Over time, your cheek definition may be less defined, and with the help of Restylane Contour, you can subtly rejuvenate cheek volume, restoring a more youthful, refined look.

Restylane Kysse

This injectable was developed specifically for subtle, soft lip enhancement. Due to aging, the lips can lose their soft, pliable volume. Kysse is a soft injectable filler that can smooth upper lip lines, with the added benefit of enhancing lip color in a very natural way – without affecting your natural expressiveness.

Restylane Refyne

This injectable could be the ideal choice to soften laugh lines and marionette lines, while protecting your natural expressions. Look younger, with fewer visible facial lines and creases without sacrificing your expressive facial motions.

Should I plan to take any time off for recovery?

With Restylane and other dermal fillers, the hyaluronic acid formula is injected via a small needle into the affected site. Depending on how many injections you will need, your Restylane appointment should take between 30 and 45 minutes. Restylane is formulated with lidocaine, which makes the injections tolerable. You may experience a mild stinging sensation, but most patients don’t experience any pain. You can go right back to work or other activities after your appointment. You should plan to avoid strenuous activity and direct sunlight for a few days to allow the filler to settle.

How long will my results last?

The effects of dermal fillers are generally immediate and long-lasting. The duration of noticeable results varies depending on the affected area and other individual factors. Follow-up treatments will be necessary to maintain results. You may benefit from a couple of closely timed Restylane sessions followed by a touch-up treatment six to nine months later. It’s important to note that dermal fillers like Restylane are different from facial injectables such as BOTOX Cosmetic and Dysport. Those products use a formula that inhibits muscle contractions to smooth fine lines and wrinkles.
